This is a must addition for the DW735 planer. The added stability for in-feed and out-feed of wood stock almost limits snipe entirely. They make a quantum leap in the quality of the planer.

Unless you have an infeed and outfeed table lined up with the interior base of the planer, you need the folding tables for convenience of feeding and retrieving material as well as significantly reducing snipe. They are easier to install than the directions indicate and they do fold out of the way, which is very handy in a small shop, such as mine.
